GOLUBAC

Golubac is located next to the Djerdap lake and Djerdap mainroad, by near to entrance of Danube in the Djerdap gorge. It was build on beginner of 14st century, on high rock on the right bank of Danube and it is one of the best guarded Serbian Middle Ages cities. In hisrorycal sources Golubac mentioned in 1335th year. It was under management of duke Lazar, despots Djurdje and Stefan. On the end of the 15th century Golubac overcomed Turkish army, and on the end of 17th and on begginner of 18th century Golubac falled to Austrian. When You are in Golubac, You should see old town, monastery Tuman and Golubac's sandy terrain.
