GORNJI MILANOVAC Gornji Milanovac arised on location of the down town Brusnica according to decree of Duke Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, in 1853th. It is located 120km far from Belgrade. You can arrive there by mainroad Ibarska magistrala. First name of this city was Despotovac and it changed in Milanovac by memory on Duke Milan who was born here. There was one problem becouse there was one city on Danube wich named Milanovac and it was decided that the city on Danube brings name Donji and this city brings name Gornji Milanovac. In neighborhood of the city is mountain Rudnik. |
